In 1999, AHV was engaged to research and design a market
entry strategy for HealthNetAsia, a start-up, regional on-line
procurement and logistics services company. AHV assessed
Asia’s unique market need, conducted more than 60
on-site interviews to analyze current procurement trends,
assisted in developing the specification for the technology
platform, successfully managed the technology build, user
acceptance testing and implementation. AHV raised two rounds
of equity, structured a global advisory board, and assisted
in negotiating numerous strategic partnerships. Anne Hockett
served as the company’s Chairman and CEO.

For The World Health Organization, Asia Pacific Regional
Office, AHV offered its pro bono services to conduct qualitative
research into a range of child health issues around the
region. AHV conducted its research in collaboration with
WHO’s senior management to review the core objectives,
target audiences and key messages for the re-launch of the
International Day of the Child. AHV facilitated discussions
around key objectives and how best to target limited funds
to achieve outreach and awareness objectives. AHV also leveraged
its contact base to assist in regional symposia around key
topics including child immunization needs and child abuse
prevention and early detection.
