For a major US-based healthcare company, AHV was hired to
research and analyze the proposed acquisition of one of
Australia’s largest hospital chains. Once the benefits
and pricing of the acquisition were determined, AHV was
involved in developing a full business plan, raising additional
equity capital, managing the interested investors in their
due diligence efforts, sourcing necessary hospital management
and other human resources as well as assisting in the deal
negotiation strategy.
In 1998, AHV was hired to arbitrate one of Thailand’s
multi-hospital mergers that included a complete assessment
of existing hospital assets, financial performance, quality
of clinical services provided and strengths of existing
physicians, nurses and hospital management teams. AHV was
also engaged to raise equity for the merger.
