Anne
Hockett's background is in public health and medicine with
a Masters from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health.
Anne's career has spanned both public and private sectors.
In the U.S., she worked for the National Institute of Medicine(Research
Associate), the Ford Foundation (Program Officer) and the
National Commission to Prevent Infant Mortality (Deputy
Director).
After arriving in Hong Kong in 1989, Anne taught medical
students at Hong Kong University and managed a healthcare
consulting practice. Upon moving to Singapore in 1995, she
went on to raise Asia's first dedicated healthcare equity
fund and served as principal healthcare industry advisor
to Chase Capital Partners and Rabobank. Anne has served
as CEO of HealthNetAsia, a regional on-line procurement
and logistics company, and interim COO of the Singapore-based
Tsao Foundation; an non-profit organization committed to
policy development and support for older people.
As a Director of AHV, Anne works primarily with governments,
non-profits and pharmaceutical companies to leverage her
expertise in consumer and medical education, behavior modification,
new business development, and project financing.
